About the Founder of Sollicito, Inc.
Mr. Simmons has over 30 years of information technology and networking/telecommunications experience with companies such as Hewlett Packard Company, Network General (now a division of Network Associates, Inc.) and Bay Networks (now Nortel Networks). He formerly served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology (CIO) at MedPartners, Inc. (Now CVS/CareMark), a multi-billion dollar public company, and has served in similar roles at smaller companies and non-profit organizations. His career has exposed him to businesses and organizations of all types and sizes and has given him significant insight into the operational requirements of most businesses and organizations. Knowledge and insight from the CEO level to the mailroom is important in designing and delivering technology solutions that provide a positive impact on an organization. Mr. Simmons has particular interest in the areas of Internet/Web technologies, telecommunications and networking, and technology team leadership. He holds a B.S. degree from Samford University and has received extensive training in many technology related areas. Mr. Simmons has received numerous honors and has served on several industry committees and advisory groups. |
