Our Mission

Sollicito, Inc. was founded on the concept that small businesses need solid technology assistance at affordable and predictable costs, delivered by people who believe in honesty and loyalty to the interests of their clients. We endeavor to meet these needs by supplying various technology services which meet these standards.

By the way, if you are wondering what the name "Sollicito" means, it is a Latin word, used by the ancient Romans, which has the following definitions, depending on the context:

sollicito : to concern oneself about the future or about others

sollicito : to stir up, incite, arouse.

We want Sollicito, Inc. to represent all of these meanings.

Company Profile

Sollicito, Inc. was founded in 1998 as a natural evolution of the services to small businesses provided by the founder, Robert E. Simmons, Jr..

We provide the following services to small businesses:

	General technology consulting
	Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) design and deployment services.
	Web site design, hosting and support.
	Information Technology management consulting services.

So, what makes us different from the "big boys"?

	Low overhead ... we use part time, highly qualified consultants, contractors and technicians to supplement a small full-time staff.
	We endeavor to become involved on an on-going basis with our clients, rather than to view things from a "current project" basis.
	We understand small business and non-profit organizations, but have big business experience and skill sets.
	We do not resell products ... we will assist our clients in making these decisions. Therefore we depend on the quality of our services for our income.
	We utilize services of other companies, where appropriate, and manage this process for our clients, resulting in one point of accountability, quality control, and exceptional value.
	We really do care about helping our clients achieve their business objectives. If we can't help you we will try to find someone who can.
